Five Steps to a Perfect Kitchen
There are 5 steps to a perfect kitchen and we have itemised our proven procedure below to make the process easy and hassle free, whilst ensuring that you end up with your perfect kitchen.
Appliances: Review your current appliances. Which appliances will you be keeping and re-using? And which appliances do you need to replace? See Appliance Advice for further information
Example;
- You may need a new oven and you would like the single oven to be wall mounted with the microwave above it; OR
- The extractor unit you would like above the cook top to be a canopy hood rather that a traditional retractable range hood; OR
- The type of cook top you prefer is gas rather than electric.
Budgets: What is your overall budget for the kitchen renovation? Does your budget include any new appliances; other trade costs; Flooring; Window Furnishings; Lighting; Painting costs? See Kitchen Costings for further information
Style/Look: What style and look of the kitchen are you after? See Kitchen Finishes & Colour for further information.
Example; 1) Modern (incorporating the latest appliances; using contemporary materials; custom designed with a real ‘wow’ factor) OR 2)Traditional (unique custom design, warm, inviting and timeless to suit your home’s architecture and your personal style). See our Photo Gallery for inspiration.
Needs/Want List: Make a list of the must-have items you wish to incorporate into your design and a wish list of items (if your budget /design allows). See our Kitchen Renovation Check List for ideas.
