Broad Costing options. You are most welcome to
attend at our showroom to discuss with our showroom supervisor the various
components that make up a Kitchen renovation budget.
This will help you to get some indicative budget estimates for:
Door and Bench Top materials,

| "Kitchen design is a complex undertaking" |
Using our very own computer "Quick Estimate" software, designed specifically by Aneka Kitchens for our customers, we provide this service completely obligation free of charge. We have found this to be a very quick way for you to get together a realistic budget on the spot, for your kitchen project |
An estimate If you have taken your own measurements in accordance with our suggestions and have provided a sketched layout of all your cabinetry locations (including sizes), as explained in the "Design sections" then we can provide you with a much more detailed estimate of the cost of your project |
How to do Measurements Design pages |
You will need to make an appointment with one of our Designers: Rod or Christine, who will review the information provided to ensure a correct estimate can be provided. Note: They will base their estimates on the kitchen layout you have provided only, not actually designing the kitchen. We can offer you a full design service at a small fee, if you just want to supply the rooms dimensions. Due to the complexities of kitchen design and the variety of materials used (and bought-in)
in today's kitchen design we can not give you a quote on the spot.
Quotation If you have a professionally developed plan and set of specifications, perhaps drawn by an independent Kitchen Designer with which you are happy then we can provide a precise quotation for you; this service is complimentary. As there is quite a bit of effort involved, including getting prices from specialist component suppliers, it may take from 2-3 days to provide a written report and precise costing.
Should you accept our quotation and advise us within 30 days then we will go to the next stage of our relationship as outlined in the "Five Steps to a Perfect Kitchen" pages. |
Design and Quotation If no detailed plan is available and a quotation is required, we can offer a full design service at a very reasonable cost.
| "you also get a fully itemised quotation and ownership of the Copyright to the design" |
Designing a Kitchen is a complex undertaking, it usually involves a home visit to get the correct measurements and to determine our Client's brief. A full hour is allocated to this in-home consultation visit. From there the Designer returns to the showroom and the actual design process really begins, typically lasting anywhere from at 2-4 hours.
Once the Design has been completed it is verified and costed and then you are invited into our showroom where the Designer presents the Design and our Quotation, again a full hour is allocated for this. It is typical for two to three subsequent consultations " to fine tune" the design and quotation, again an hour each time is typical. A full design process takes about 8 hours on average and can sometimes go up to 20 hours (depending on how often the client wishes to make changes). The Design drawings are all CAD based (computer aided design), which means we can provide you with a realistic visual impression for you to review, just like the example below (except that we will present many views from different angles, and using the full screen on a large display monitor). |
Professional Design Service: The cost for this service is $350 for a Kitchen (and $150 for any other room) and this can be paid by cash, cheque or by credit card (over the phone service available for your convenience). We accept Visa, Mastercard and EFTPOS. Note: This fee is 100% Refundable when you have your kitchen installed by Aneka Kitchens. The first appointment is in your home and lasts for approximately 1-2 hours. During this time your needs and requirements will be discussed, room sizes measured and any appliance information (that you are either re-using or purchasing new) will be gathered. Also, any accessory items that you would like to be included in the design will be noted. Colour and materials selections will be required at the quoting stage but are not often required at the design stage (as often the colours are determined after the design is finalised). Once our Designer has completed the initial design concept, we will contact you to organise a suitable time to view the Design on our large Computer screen and explain and discuss the proposed layout. From there we will make further changes to the design to best suit your requirements and the available space. Money Back Guarantee: Once the Professional Design Service is completed, if you are not satisfied with the final customised design, quality, level of service and value-for-money of your design service, we will gladly refund the full design service amount. Obligation-free Quotations: Once the design has been finalised to your satisfaction, Aneka Kitchens will then be happy to provide you with a detailed, no-obligation quotation for your perusal. The written quotation will be detailed and tailored to your requests. Later on should you wish to purchase the design copyright ($150), we can provide you with the dimensional drawings. Again, this fee is 100% refundable when you have your kitchen installed by Aneka Kitchens. Colour Schemes Once your have accepted our design, we will assist you with the
selection of your kitchen colours right here in our showroom, using our extensive range of sample materials and colour palettes. Production Control Our production process is closely integrated with the design process and all the data compiled to date is used to drive the material ordering, cutting lists and machining operations; this ensures that once the original design has been approved, it is faithfully implemented. |
